Hi
I'm using D2007 with TeeChart Pro v2016.18 .160504 32bit VCL. Running on Windows 10. Office 2016 32 bit.
I'm trying to use the Chart Previewer to export to Excel but in the IDE I get an Interface Error. If I run the exe outside of the IDE it says the spreadsheet is corrupted. The other exports seem to work OK. Is there a fix for this?
Secondary question: Is it possible to resize the Chart Previewer form when it is shown. The size looks too small - buttons are hidden.
Thanks

Hello,

It sounds similar to the bug reported here:OSNick wrote:I'm trying to use the Chart Previewer to export to Excel but in the IDE I get an Interface Error. If I run the exe outside of the IDE it says the spreadsheet is corrupted. The other exports seem to work OK. Is there a fix for this?

I can resize the dialog dragging its bottom-right corner, can't you?OSNick wrote: Is it possible to resize the Chart Previewer form when it is shown. The size looks too small - buttons are hidden.

Re: Export to Excel in Chart Previewer not working
Yes, sounds the same bug. Exporting to Excel is an important feature for our users. Is there an update on when it might get fixed please?
Yes, I can resize the window, but I would like to show it to a size where all the controls are visible.

- Right click on a TChart at design time and select "Options...".
- Go to the "Chart Editor" tab and select "Remember Size" checkbox.

Re: Export to Excel in Chart Previewer not working
Thanks for the reply. That works for the TChart editor, but on the TDashboard when I call Dashboard1.Showeditor (from a buttonclick), it does not remember it's size and always displays quite small. Is there another way I should be invoking the editor on a TDashboard?
Re: Export to Excel in Chart Previewer not working
Actually forget about the TDashboard editor, we have decided to allow users to edit the underlying charts and save the chartsettings (stream) to the database.
The more pressing issue is the title of this post - cannot export to Excel. (Windows 10, Office 2016).
