Disable Live Bindings

Hi,

I've disabled Live Bindings in Delphi 10.1.. It did this because of massive performance problems in bigger projects. I did it the following way: Removed / disabled the three Live Bindings packages from embarcadero.

Since it did that TeeChart Pro complains at every start about it: "Error registering TeeChart LiveBindings: Invalid registration". I tried to bypass this with reinstalling the TeeChart components, but i had no success.

Is there anyway to disable / get rid of live bindings in teechart pro, too?

I'm not sure if this is the best workaround but it's worth to give it a try:
- Delete BindCompFMXTeeReg.dcu and BindCompVCLTeeReg.dcu from "Delphi24\Delphi24.win32\Lib" folder.
- Run TeeInstall.exe from "Delphi24" folder, and select "No" when asked to Uninstall the product (this will reinstall it).

Same issue. Please describe how to disable the teechart message when the Delphi livebindings package has been renamed/removed.

We are fixing this at least for source code customers, and we'll see if we can also fix it for the binary installations.

Thank you. Please let us know the resolution. I just bought TeeChart; perhaps I'd be allowed to "upgrade" to source if that's necessary to eliminate livebindings.

We've added a checkbox in TeeRecompile to allow disabling LiveBindings. TeeRecompile is the tool shipped with the source code version that helps compiling and installing the components into the IDEs.
For the moment, those customers without the sources who are interested in disabling LiveBindings, please let us know what IDE you are using and we'll provide a special non-LiveBindings install.

I have recompiled Teechart with the new option Livebindings disabled and it's work fine.
Now I can disable Livebindings on Delphi !
