By default, if one item in the legend has long text, then the spacing for all items in the legend will be the same. Here are a couple examples with notes below:
Is there any way to reduce the space used by Series2 and Series3?
Same idea--but reduce the space Series2, Series3, Series5 & Series6.

The previous thread is 5 years old (2006). And I still don't see the answer in the 2010 chart--it is not the stacked legend I have a problem with, but a horizontal one. Is there still no solution for this?

Hi Ed,
The thread I refereed above was created on 29 Sep 2009, not 2006. Are you maybe looking into another thread I've missed?
Anyway, as you can see in the Custom Legend demo in the TeeChart VCL v2010 features demo, you can edit the number of columns and rows to show, each column width, each row height and each cell text.
